Additional information

There are no studies available investigating the adsorption/desorption behaviour of N-lauroylsarcosine (CAS 97-78-9). Using the model developed by Franco and Trapp (Franco and Trapp, 2008), a log Koc of 2.43 - 3.91 was obtained, indicating considerable adsorption potential. Volatilisation is not expected to be of concern since the substance has a vapour pressure of 27.5 Pa at 25°C. Thus, the main compartment is expected to be the sediment and soil compartment. However, the substance is not expected to persist since it is readily biodegradable.
