The key value for the adsorption coefficient was determined as per OECD guidelines No. 121 in accordance with GLP. The HPLC method using soil-adsorption -reference data was applied. Based on the adsorption coefficient (Koc value 26.3 and log Koc 1.42) does not identify this substance to be have bioaccumulation or adsorption potential to soil or sediments.  In addition, based on the octanol-water coefficient (log Kow <0.2) it is not persistent in the environment. Substance is non-volatile solid and only slightly water soluble. The evaporation to atmosphere from water compartment is expected to be low based upon on the high melting point value (320 deg. Celsius).
