Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

A determination of the partition coefficient is technically not feasible due to the test substances low solubility in water (< 0.499 mg/L at 20°C) and fat (< 10 mg/100 g at 37°C). Hence, the partition coefficient was calculated using three different programs:

- CLOGP v3.2: log Pow = 3.0

- KOWWIN v1.67: log Pow = 2.2

- ACD/logP v12.00, log Pow = 2.79

Since the highest calculated log Pow value of 3 is considered as a worst-case approach, an actual log Pow lower than 3 is likely.

Furthermore, in a toxicokinetic study on male Wistar rats it was demonstrated that the test compound was not taken up by the animals. Hence the test item is considered to be not bioavailable after a single oral administration.

In conclusion, the combination of the low mean log Pow below 3 as calculated using three different calculation models, the low water solubility and the expected low bioavailability, the bioaccumulation potential of the test compound can be expected to be low.
