Description of key information

Key study: Test method OECD 211. GLP study. The 21d-EC50 and 21d-NOEC (basis for effect: reproduction) for 2-vinylpyridine in Daphnia magna were determined to be 1.1 and 0.9 mg/l, respectively.

Additional information

A Daphnia magna reproduction test was performed by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment based on OECD-GLP standard and OECD test Guidelines 211. The test was performed during 21 days. The 21d-EC50 and 21d-NOEC for 2 -vinylpyridine based on reproduction were determined to be 1.1 and 0.9 mg/l, respectively.
