Additional information

The relative density of the test material was determined using the pycnometer method in a key study by Calmels (1996). The study was conducted under GLP conditions and in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 109, EU Method A.3, ISO 1183 (1987) and AFNOR NF T 20-053. Based on the principles for assessing data quality defined by Klimisch (1997), this study was assigned a reliability score of 1.

The pycnometric method is used to calculate the relative density by considering the difference of weight between full and empty pycnometer, and its volume.

Under the conditions of the test the relative density of the test material was determined to be 0.880 at 20 °C (the mean of three assays).
