Description of key information

The substance was shown not to remain in its native form when mixed with water at a nominal concentration of 10 g/L. The various components of the substance were released and had the following solubilities at 20°C and pH 6.5: Zinc hexacyanocobaltate complex 7.5 mg/L, Zinc chloride 649 mg/L, Polypropyleneglycol plus tertiary butyl alcohol 1825 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
1 825 mg/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The component with the highest water solubility was chosen to yield the key value for chemical safety assessment since it results in the most critical assessment.
