Results and discussion

Effect concentrations
Key result
Duration:
48 h
Dose descriptor:
EC50
Effect conc.:
> 33 mg/L
Nominal / measured:
nominal
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Basis for effect:
mobility
Details on results:
The responses recorded in this test allowed for reliable determination of an EC50. No effects were observed in any of the LEE011-A4 (=LEE011-NXA) treated groups. The one daphnia that was immobilised in the control group was within the limits for acceptability of the test.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The 48h-EC50 exceeded 33 mg/l, being the actual measured concentration in a 0.45 μm filtered solution prepared at a loading rate of 100 mg/l.
