In accordance with column 2 of Annex VIII 9.3.1 of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 studies on adsorption/desorption do not have to be conducted as the substance has a low potential for adsorption based on a log Kow (log Kow = -3.63 at 21.5 °C and pH = 7.5).
However, for the purpose of risk assessment calculation a Koc was calculated using KOCWIN Program (v2.00), resulting in a Koc value of 10 L/kg, based on the molecular conductivity index (MCI). The substance is not in the applicability domain of the model. Nevertheless, considering the low log kow (-3.63) and the low log koc as calculated in this QSAR, it is considered as acceptable to use this result for risk assessment purposes.
