guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 102 (Melting point / Melting Range)
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.1 (Melting / Freezing Temperature)
Deviations:
no

Key result
Melting / freezing pt.:
> 400 °C
Decomposition:
no
Remarks on result:
other: The melting process was not observed throughout the temperature range of 50-400ºC

The sample was monitored visually during the study and the melting process was not observed. Also, no other physical changes of the sample were observed. The test substance did not melt up to temperature of 400 ºC (maximum temperature possible to determine with used apparatus).

Conclusions:
The melting point of the test item was not observed up to 400ºC.
Executive summary:

The study to determine the melting point of the test item was performed by capillary tube in heated metal block method according to OECD TG 102 / EU Method A.1 (GLP study). The melting point of the test item was not observed up to 400ºC.
