Additional information

Hydrolysis as a function of pH (according to OECD 111): The hydrolysis test cannot be performed due to the complexicity of the substance (UVCB). It would not be possible to obtain meaningfull results for all components of the substance.

Ready biodegradability (according to OECD 301B, EU C.4 -C, ISO DIS 9439) : Biodegradation of at least 60% was not reached within a 10-day window. Thus, the criterion for ready biodegradability was not met. Nevertheless a biodegradation of 55% after 28 days was achieved.

No tests on degradation in soil and sediment are feasible due to the complex nature of the substance (UVCB). It is judged to be not possible to perform the test due to the absence of specific analytical methods to support the monitoring of the degradation process and the inability to label the substance properly (C14 -labelling).

Bioaccumulation:

No tests are feasible due to the complex nature of the substance (UVCB). It is judged to be not possible to perform the test due to the absence ofspecific analytical methods to support the monitoring of the degradation process and the inability to label the substance properly (C14 -labelling).

Adsorption/desorption: According to Annex XI, 2 REACH the test is technically not possible. It is not possible to develop an analytical method to get reliable results due to the unknown UVCB character of this substance.
