3. Advice for firefighters:

Clothing and gloves resistant to fire and SCBA.

Accidental release measures

1. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Personal precautions: Prohibit entry of unnecessary personnel. Avoid prolonged contact with liquid product.

Personal protection: Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, safety goggles or visors.

2. Environmental precautions

Isolate and remove discharged material.

Keep material away from water sources.

Do not allow material to reach drains and sewers.

3. Methods and material for containment and cleaning up

Small spills: Collect with dry sand or other non-combustible absorbent material and place into containers for later disposal.

Large spills: Dike far ahead of liquid spillage, and using vacuum equipment pump into containers for later disposal.

Handling and storage

1. Precautions for safe handling

General precautions: Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, visors or safety goggles.

Do not smoke, drink, or eat during handling.

Do not handle damaged containers unless wearing appropriate protective equipment to avoid direct contact.

Good personal hygiene procedures must be observed.

Specific conditions: When filling or handling containers use appropriate waterproof suits, gloves, and shoes, and safety goggles or face-shields to prevent splashes.

Avoid contact with air during transfer of liquids, use pumps and connections grounded to prevent electrostatic charge.

Temperatures below 20°C cause increase in viscosity, which may complicate handling.

2. Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

Temperature and decomposition products: The product is stable under normal conditions. Dangerous reactions: N/A

Storage conditions: It must be stored in steel or polyethylene containers, properly labeled and closed, placed in cool, well ventilated areas.

Protect containers against the inclemencies of the weather.

3. Incompatible materials: Oxidizing substances. Specific end use(s)
