Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Based on a read-across from a related substance Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid a vapour pressure value of 0.0000000002 Pa at 25°C was reported in a peer-reviewed database, according to the Riedel and Plank vapour pressure correlation and therefore selected as key study. Another peer -reviewed database which is considered reliable give a vapour pressure range of <= 0.0000001 hPa at 25°C for disodium dihydrogen ethylenediaminetetraacetate, therefore, support the key study.

Due to the similar dissociation of the potassium salt compared to the sodium salt only small amounts of the neutral

ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid

are migrated into gas phase, the amount of which is strongly pH dependent. A dependence on the cation is not expected therefore read-across for this endpoint is scientifically justified.
