The Ready Biodegradability testing indicated that the test substance is not readily biodegradable. Notably, the Henry’s Law Constant indicates that water is not a relevant environmental compartment – i.e., test substance in the water compartment would quickly partition to air with some portion going to the sediment. In an OECD 302C, Inherent Biodegradability: Modified MITI Test (II), 40% biodegradation by day 28 based on BOD measurements and residue analysis indicated primary biodegradation of the parent, but the test substance did not meet the criteria for Inherent biodegradability. Therefore, the test substance would likely be P (not vP) in soil and sediments.
