The flammability of the test substance is given by its flash point. The flash point was determined based on a method equivalent to guidelines and is reliable.

The test substance has a flash point of 46.5 °C and is therefore a flammable liquid Cat. 3 (Flash point >= 23 °C and <= 60 °C) according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The test substance has a flash point of 46.5 °C and is therefore a flammable liquid Cat. 3 (flash point >= 23 °C and <= 60 °C) according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and is flammable according to Directive 67/548/EEC (flash point >= 23 °C and <= 55°C).

Based on structural considerations and experience from handling the substance it can be concluded that pyrophoricity

and flammability in contact with water are not properties associated with the submission substance
