First-aid measures
4.1 Inhalation
Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Keep patient at rest and give oxygen if breathing difficult. If symptoms develop, obtain medical attention.
4.2 Skin Contact
Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. If symptoms develop, obtain medical attention.
4.3 Eye Contact
Remove particles by irrigating with eye wash solution or clean water, holding the eyelids apart. If symptoms persist, obtain medical attention.
4.4 Ingestion
Provided the patient is conscious, wash out mouth with water and give 1000 ml of water to drink. Induce vomiting if possible. If symptoms develop, obtain medical attention.
4.5 Further Medical Treatment
No information on Further Medical Treatment proposed
Fire-fighting measures
5.1 Extinguishing Media
Extinguish with carbon dioxide, dry chemical, foam or waterspray.
5.2 Unsuitable Extinguishing Media
None known.
5.3 Fire Fighting Protective Equipment
Self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing should be worn in fire conditions.
5.4 Hazardous Decomposition Product(s)
None anticipated.
5.5 Other
No additional information on fire fighting measures proposed
Accidental release measures
6.1 Personal Precautions
Ensure suitable personal protection (including respiratory protection) during removal of spillages.
6.2 Environmental Exposure Controls
Avoid release to the environment. Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.
6.3 Methods for cleaning up
Vacuum or sweep up, transfer to a container, seal ready for disposal.
Avoid decontamination procedures which create airborne dusting. Use ventilation if necessary to control dusting. Avoid use of compressed air. Keep ignition sources away from spill area.
Handling and storage
7.1 HANDLING
Handle in accordance with operating regulations, workers to wear personal safety equipment in accordance with valid regulations.
Do not eat, drink or smoke at the work place. Wash face and hands before eating, drinking or smoking. Avoid generation of dust.
7.2 STORAGE
Keep container tightly closed, in a cool, well ventilated place.
Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.
Storage Temperature:
Store under normal storage conditions
Storage Life:
Stable under normal conditions.
