Description of key information

Under the conditions of this study, the viscosity of the test material was determined to be 1.11 x 10³ mm²/s at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C and 288 mm²/s at 40.0 ± 0.5 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Viscosity:
1 110 mm²/s (static)
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The viscosity of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline OECD 114 under GLP conditions. It was assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria detailed by Klimisch (1997).

The retention times of the test material while flowing through a certified glass capillary viscometer in a thermostatically controlled water bath at 20 and 40 °C were measured. Under the conditions of this study, the viscosity of the test material was determined to be 1.11 x 10³ mm²/s at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C and 288 mm²/s at 40.0 ± 0.5 °C
