Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Boiling point could not be determined as test material decomposes at > 100 °C, OECD 103, EU Method A.2 and EPA OPPTS 830.7220, Baltussen 2013a.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

An attempt was made to determine the boiling temperature of the test material in the key study using differential scanning calorimetry in accordance with standardised guidelines. Above 100 °C an exothermic effect was observed which was most likely due to reaction and/or decomposition of the test material. After the experiment, a light brown molten residue remained in the sample container, demonstrating reaction and/or decomposition of the test material. Boiling of the test material was not observed. Under the conditions of this study, reaction and/or decomposition of the test material was observed at temperatures of >100 °C (>373 K).
