Administrative data

First-aid measures

IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: water, water fog, carbon dioxide (CO2), foam, or dry chemical.

Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases: hazardous vapours, and hazardous decomposition products.

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

Methods of cleaning up: Suitable material for taking up: sand.

Personal precautions: Wear personal protection equipment. Use appropriate respiratory protection.

Environmental precautions: Ensure waste is collected and contained. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid dust formation. Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Engineering controls: Use the following dilution ventilation types: use in a well-ventilated area only, or technical ventilation of workplace.

Eye protection: safety glasses with side shields or chemical goggles.

Hand protection: chemical resistant gloves (neoprene); chemical suit; rubber boots.

Respiratory protection: full face mask respirator, filter type P2 or P3.

Measures required to protect the environment: protect drains and sewers from entry of the product.

Additional measures: Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.

Stability and reactivity

Stability: stable under manufacturer recommended storage and handling conditions.

Reactivity: not reactive under manufacturer recommended storage and handling conditions.
