Additional information

In a GLP guideline study following EU Method C.3 (Algal Inhibition test) green algae (Desmodesmus subspicatus) were exposed for 72 hours to 'Hexamethylene diisocyanate, oligomerisation product (biuret type)'. Based on nominal concentrations of the water accomodated fraction (WAF), the 72-h EL50 value for growth was determined to be above 100 mg/L and the 72 -h LOEC value for growth >= 100 mg/L (Bayer AG, 2006).
