Additional information

The Merck Index is a peer reviewed handbook and is considered reliable and suitable for use as the key study for this endpoint. In addition, this reference was used as the key study in the EU RAR (2003) for toluene. The density of toluene is 0.866 g.cm-3 at 20˚C.

The supporting study (CRC, 2008) is also a peer reviewed handbook and supports the value reported in the key study, giving a density of 0.86 g.cm-3 at 20˚C.
