The substance is being registered as pure substance, 100% UVCB, without any water as a component, because, following Article 3(1) of the REACH Regulation a substance shall not include a solvent which may be separated without affecting the stability of the substance or changing its composition. Being there no evidence to the contrary, water is considered to be a solvent that can be removed without affecting the stability of the substance or changing its composition. All analysis and testing have nevertheless be conducted on the form of the substance that is the commercially available, with about 20% of water in order to focus and evaluate the possible dangerous characteristics of the substance on the real product to which workers and environement are exposed

The substance is a liquid brown coloured at room temperature. Some secondary missing phys-chem properties have been taken from the registered substance Vegetable oil sulphited sodium salt FLL 4. The substance is a similar analogues of the sulphited grop substances.
