Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- Interpretation of results (migrated information): other: Cu° is insoluble, the test demonstrates poor solubility
Copper is a metals and as such insoluble. Copper needs to be oxidized to become soluble.
The solubility was still poor (<1 mg/L) even after after rigourous stirring for 14 -16 days.
Transformation/dissolution tests and bio-elution tests are more applicable to metals and are available from the section "environmental fate and pathways -additional environmental fate" and "toxicological information - toxico-kinetics" - Executive summary:
The water solubility test was done for the sample 10TT02555. The preliminary test did not indicate any solubility for the sample.Approximately 5 g sample and 100 ml water were taken to each test.
The shaking time was 14-16 days. The sample 10TT02555 was poorly soluble.
