Additional information

In a reliable (Klimisch 1) study by Spilker (2009), the kinematic viscosity of o -tert-butylphenol was determined according to ISO 3104 (kinematic viscosity). The viscosity was measured by means of a capillary viscosimeter (Ubbelohde Type I c and Type I) at two different temperatures. The kinematic viscosity of o -tert-butylphenol was determined to be 14.7 mm²/s at 20.0 °C, resp. 5.8 mm²/s at 40.0 °C.

In a reliable (Klimisch 1) study by Geringhoff (2009), the viscosity of o-tert-butylphenol was determined according to DIN 53019 (Rotational viscosity). Study results indicate the dynamic viscosity of <20 mPa s at both 20 and 40 °C.
