Additional information

2,2',2''-Nitrilotriethanol, propoxylated has been tested according to OECD Guideline 471 (Bacterial reverse mutation assay), OECD Guideline 473 (In vitro Mammalian Chromosome Aberration Test) and OECD Guideline 476 (In vitro Mammalian Cell Gene Mutation Test). All studies were performed with and without metabolic activation and gave negative findings for genetic toxicity. In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, as the in vitro studies did not reveal any genotoxic properties, an in vivo genetic toxicity study is not necessary.

Endpoint Conclusion: No adverse effect observed (negative)

Justification for classification or non-classification
