Description of key information

Hydrobromic acid dissociates into the hydrogen and bromide ions in contact with water. As an inorganic substance, hydrogen bromide (HBr) is expected to partition to water.  A calculated value Log Kow of 0.6287 can be made; however, the KOWWIN model was trained with organic compounds, so the value should be treated with caution.
