Description of key information

Study technically not feasible (waiver)

MEA Polyborate only exists in aqueous solution.  It exists in a constant state of equilibrium, and attempts to remove the water result in a shift of equilibrium, and a change in the nature of the molecule. Supporting documents are attached in Section 13. Consequently, it is impossible to measure the melting point or boiling point of MEA Polyborate, therefore this endpoint is waived.  Although the presence of MEA Polyborate in solution would slightly depress the melting point and similarly elevate the boiling point, these may be considered to be around the melting point and boiling point of water (i.e. 0° and 100°C respectively).
