Analysis of the immobility gave the following results

EC50 (immobilisation) 24 h = 8.6 mg a.i./l

EC50 (immobilisation) 48 h = 6.4 mg a.i./l

No effect level at 24 h = 3.7 mg a.i./l

No effect level at 48 h = 3.7 mg a.i./l

Individual pH, Temperature and dissolved oxygen vaues remained within acceptable limits throughout the duration of the study

at 0 hours: pH= 7.6 - 7.7 ; O2 = 8.8 mgO2/l for all samples ; T = 21°C for all samples

at 24 hours: T= 21 °C for all samples

at 48 hours: pH = 7.9 - 8.0 ; O2 = 7.9 - 8.0 mgO2/l ; T 21°C for all samples
