Additional information

The epoxidized palm oil (EPO) is a yellow oily liquid with a small amount of solid, without irritating odor. The freezing point has been determined to be 17.6℃ and the boiling point is more than 350.0℃ at 101.60 kPa. EPO has an relative density of 925 kg/m3 (20℃) and has been determined to have a vapour pressure of 0.4 kPa at 20°C. the estimated Log Kow of Epoxidized palm oil withe EPI Suite is over 10 which is far beyond the application range of standard test methods of log Kow.

The water solubility was less than 0.01 mg/ and therefore EPO was concluded as "highly insoluble".

The flash point of the test substance was determined to be 248°C.

The viscosity of EPO is typically is 520 mPa·s.t 25 degrees Centigrade.

The substance is not classified according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
