Description of key information

Major components ranging between 207 and 633 Pa at 25°C (literature and QSAR).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No study was conducted on the oil itself, as not relevant for an UVCB.

In a Weight of Evidence approach, literature provided data for four of the five major components:

- alpha-pinene VP ca 633 Pa,

- beta-pinene VP ca 391 Pa,

- beta-myrcene VP ca 279 Pa,

- limonene VP ca 207 Pa (at the same temperature of 25°C).

For the other one, no literature data was available, so the dataset was completed with a valid QSAR estimation (at 25°C):

- delta-3-carene VP ca 293 Pa.

As no CSA is required for the tonnage band of concern, no key value was retained (nor calculated weighted VP nor worst-case).
