Description of key information

The effective concentration (EC50) values of 1,3-isobenzofurandione, reaction products with methylquinoline and quinoline (D & C Yellow No. 11) based on the effect of mortality in aquatic invertebrate (Daphnia magna)  in a 48 hrs study was found to be >0.17mg/L and No mortality observed at 0.17mg/L.

The other weight of evidence studies also indicate the EC50 values to be in the range more than 0.17-0.18 mg/L.  Thus, considering only the EC50 values, the studies indicate Aquatic toxicity since though the EC50 values are in the classifying, as the range is not specified. Considering the weight of evidence results 1,3-isobenzofurandione, reaction products with methylquinoline and quinoline (D & C Yellow No. 11) is not classified.
