Additional information

Due to the low solubility and complex nature of the test item, media for investigations of short-term aquatic toxicity were prepared as a Water Accommodated Fractions (WAFs). Given that the toxicity cannot be attributed to a single component or a mixture of components, but to the test item as a whole, results were based on nominal loading rates.

Conclusion on classification

Based on the available environmental fate and ecotoxicological data for fish, Daphnia and algae, the substance must be classified as hazardous to the environment. Under the terms of EU CLP (Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008) the classifications H400: Aquatic Acute 1 and H411: Aquatic Chronic 2 are applicable.
