Description of key information

Boiling point (diphenylsilanediol): The substance decomposes during melting.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The requirement to conduct a boiling point study for the submission was waived in accordance with Section 2 of REACH Annex XI, because the submission substance was observed to react or decompose from 181 - 182°C during a melting point study using thermal analysis in accordance with OECD Test Guideline 102.
