The solubility range of the test item hydrogen [4-[4-(diethylamino)-2',4'-disulphonatobenzhydrylidene]cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene]diethylammonium, sodium salt;( CAS No. 129-17-9) in DMF was found to be greater than 1000 g/l and in methanol was found to be in the range of 200 – 1000 g/l whereas, 200-100 g/l in case of Acetonitrile and less than 1g/l for acetone, ethanol and toluene, respectively at 28 °C
