Description of key information

This end point was considered for waiver since in accordance with column 2 of Annex VII, this study does not need to be conducted as the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials, on the basis of the chemical structure. hydrogen [4-[4-(diethylamino)-2',4'-disulphonatobenzhydrylidene]cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene]diethylammonium, sodium salt contains oxygen but no halogen atoms, and the oxygen is not  chemically bonded to nitrogen or halogen. Thus, the chemical is not likely to exhibit oxidising properties.

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the chemical structure, the chemical hydrogen [4-[4-(diethylamino)-2',4'-disulphonatobenzhydrylidene]cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene]diethylammonium, sodium salti s not likely to exhibit oxidising properties. Thus, it is classified as "Not Oxidising".
