Additional information

There are no measured data available for Hydrocarbons, C12-C15, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, <2% aromatics, (D90) however the substance is not expected to demonstrate acute fish and invertebrate toxicity at loadings up to 1000 mg/L based on read across. Algal 72-hour NOELR values are >1 mg/L based on read-across. It is readily biodegradable, the log Kow value is >4, and there is evidence of rapid degradation in the environment based on a high extent of biodegradation demonstrated in water and soil.

Conclusion on classification

Hydrocarbons, C12-C15, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, <2% aromatics (D90) does not require classification according to Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (as amended) on the basis of read-across short-term and long-term ecotoxicity data as reported in Section 6.1.
