The substance is thermally stable up to 300°C. Beginning at 350°C a decomposition was determined, whith an exothermal heatflow of -70 J/g. Because of the low decomposition energy adiabatic selfheating and other dangerous properties such as deflagration or shock sensitivity can be excluded.

At 147°C (Onset) an endothermal peak was detected, which can be assigned to the melting point of the substance. No other

endothermal peak was observed (no boiling point).
