Additional information

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 115 and Regulation (EC) No 440/2005 Method A.5 to determine the surface tension of an aqueous solution of the test item using the ring method. Therefore, a saturated solution of the test substance in de-ionized water was prepared After adapting at 20 °C the surface tension measurements were performed at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C. The surface tension of the test item aqueous solution was found to be 63.6 mN/m. As this value is higher than 60 mN/m, the test item had no surface-active properties.
