Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
According to EU A.17 test method, Everlan SL65 is not considered as an oxidizing substance. Therefore, Everlan SL65 was not met GHS criteria.
Executive summary:

The oxidizing property of Everlan SL65 was determined according to EC REGULATION No 440/2008 Annex A.17 Oxidizing Properties (Solids). The result of preliminary test showed that he sample mixture burn very slowly, so the full train test is necessary. In train test, the result showed that the piles of sample cellulose-mixtures containing 10 to 90 % weight were ignited in 2 min. Only spark spreaded slowly and the burning times are all longer than 600s. The maximum buring rate of mixture of sample with cellulose is less than maximum burning rate of reference mixture 1.43 mm/s. Therefore, Everlan SL65 is not considered as an oxidizing substance.

Description of key information

Everlan SL65is not considered as an oxidizing substance (EC A.17).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
non oxidising

Additional information

The result of preliminary test showed that the sample mixture burn very slowly, so the full train test is necessary. In train test, the result showed that the piles of sample cellulose-mixtures containing 10 to 90 % weight were ignited in 2 min. Only sparks spread slowly and the burning times are all longer than 600s. The maximum burning rate of mixture of sample with cellulose is less than maximum burning rate of reference mixture 1.43 mm/s. Therefore, Everlan SL65 is not considered as an oxidizing substance.
