Additional information

The molecule is not expected to adsorb to suspended solids and sediment based upon the log Koc as calculated for the uncharged molecule (log Koc 1.35 from MCI, log Koc 0.22 from log Kow) as well as for the ionized molecule (log Koc 1.37 at pH 7).

If the uncharged substance is exposed to water, it will not evaporate into the atmosphere from the water surface because of its Henry's Law Constant of 0.000139 Pa m³/mol (25 °C). Further, the chemical will be protonated in water which further decreases the evaporation potential. Moreover, the chemical is readily biodegradable.

Due to the results of the Mackay LEVEL 1 calculation for the uncharged molecule, over time the substance will preferentially distribute into water (99.6%).
