According to column 2 of REACH Annex VII, a study on autoflammability (as required in point 7.12) does not need to be conducted if the melting point is below 160°C or a self-heating to 400°C can be excluded. As shown in IUCLID point 4.2 and 4.19 the melting range of the test item is 61-177°C and no exothermic effect was observed up to 400°C (i.e. no self heating). Consequently, a study on autoflammability is not required.
