Description of key information

The absolute density ranges from 0.77 to 0.85 g/cm3 at 15 deg C (CONCAWE, 2010a)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The density of 0.77 to 0.85 g/cm3 for kerosine was obtained from Compilation of Selected Physico-Chemical Properties of Petroleum Substances (CONCAWE, 2010). Density was determined for various kerosine substances according to ASTM D-4052 and EN ISO 12185 methods.

Additionally, the density of 0.751 to 0.845 g/mL at 15°C for kerosines was obtained form CONCAWE 1994 product dossier.
