Description of key information

The physical state of the substance is solid powder, its colour is yellow, it is odourless (Outotec, 2010).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Physical state at 20°C and 1013 hPa:
solid

Additional information

The analysis was done on mid-shade red as representative sample of cadmium sulfoselenide pigment. However, the registered substance covers a range of colours varying from light orange to deep maroon which can be produced by varying selenium content within the same structure.

All these pigments are odourless solid powders.
