Description of key information
One reliable key study (Klimisch 1) is available.
The solubility in n-octanol of the test item was determined with Shake flask method according to recognized guidelines (OECD Guideline 105 and EU Method A.6). No deviations from the guideline were observed during the study.
The solubility in n-octanol of reaction mass of 1-chloro-2-(difluoromethoxy)-1,1,2,3,3,3-hexafluoro-propane and 2-difluoromethoxy-1,1,1,2,3,3,3-eptafluoro-propane performed at 20 0 °C ± 2.0 °C was 229 g/L.
The solubility in n-octanol of the test item expressed as SOLVENT N1 at 20 0 °C ± 2.0 °C was 302 g/L.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Solubility in organic solvents at 20°C:
- 229 g/L
