Since in the sample there are coarse flakes (dimensions sometimes> 2mm) the direct application of the laser granulometry is not possible. A preliminary manual sieving was carried out, with a laser granulometry only on the 0.5 mm loop.

Sample Preparation : The sample was analyzed as is. 5 independent preparations were performed of the aliquot for laser particle size, each read 3 times. Sieving: square meshes are used.

The percentage of particles with diameters between 2.13 μm and 2.42 μm is equal to 0.21% V/V. 0.21% V/V is linked to the fact that the concept of "volume of fraction of interest with respect to the total volume of particles" is used in laser granulometry ".
