Additional information

The acute toxicity of 16Alpha-Hydroxyprednisolone to Daphnia magna was assessed under static exposure conditions, in a new study according to GLP and OECD No 202 guideline.Based on mean measured concentrations, the 48-hour EC50 of 16Alpha-Hydroxyprednisolone for the immobilisation of Daphnia magna was calculated to be 109 mg/L (95% confidence limits of 97.8 and 41.6 mg/L), and the ‘no-observed effect concentration’ of 16Alpha-Hydroxyprednisolone to Daphnia magna was 41.6 mg/L.
