Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Ecotoxicological information

Toxicity to soil macroorganisms except arthropods

Administrative data

Endpoint:
toxicity to soil macroorganisms except arthropods: short-term
Data waiving:
exposure considerations
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
Quantitative assessment:
A quantitative assessment was carried out for all environmental protection targets except for air, for which no hazard had been identified. The release estimation for the exposure scenarios was based on estimated release factors. As there is no waste, and therefore, releases into environmental compartment (STP, water, air and soil), the limited release factors were adjusted for exposure estimation (0.0001 to air, 0.0001 to water and 0 to soil). The environmental estimation provides conservative results. The qualitative assessment is consequently recommended.
The exposure estimates and potential risks to environmental compartments have been obtained using model EUSES 2.1.
Qualitative assessment:
In this scenario, the substance is formulated and transfer into dedicated facilities. During these processes, no waste occurs (regular cleaning and treatment included), therefore no exposure of environmental exposure is expected. And the whole volume of substance is exported outside the EU.
