Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
The octanol/water partition coefficient (log Kow) of has been evaluated using the HPLC method (OECD 117). Log Kow (weighted average) of 9.3 has been calculated using polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons as retention time calibrants.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Log Kow (Log Pow):
- 9.3
- at the temperature of:
- 20 °C
Additional information
A reliability rating of 1 was assigned to the key study (Dutta, 2021), according to the criteria of Klimisch, 1997 as the information was obtained from an in house study conducted according to the OECD 117 method.
Result: The log Kow was determined by HPLC to be 9.3
.
The Rausina, 1996 study was not chosen as the key study as the test was not conducted to a recognised method. A reliability rating of 2 was assigned to this study, according to the criteria of Klimisch, 1997 as it is considered to be a well-conducted non-guideline non-GLP study. Restricted because study lacks detailed information on individual data.
Result: The log Kow was determined by HPLC to be 6.6.
