Description of key information

Small Vinyl Ester is stable in organic solvents if not exposed to light. When exposed to light or initiated with peroxide, it will polymerise and bind all Small Vinyl Ester and most of the reactive diluent covalently in an extremely stable polymer that is highly insoluble in water and organic solvents.

Additional information

Small Vinyl Ester is placed on the market as an approximately 50% solution in a reactive diluent. Thus it is stable in organic solvents, if not exposed to light. When exposed to light or initiated (with peroxide), Small Vinyl Ester will polymerise and bind all Small Vinyl Ester and most of the reactive diluent covalently in an extremely stable polymer that is highly insoluble in water and organic solvents.
