Description of key information

The substance is a reaction mass of L-alanyl-L-tyrosine hydrochloride and potassium chloride. For the reaction mass no experimental data regarding the endpoint water solubility is available.

However, water solubility data for all relevant individual components is available indicating that the substance is very soluble in water.

The component L-alanyl-L-tyrosine has an experimental water solubility of 17 g/L at pH 4 , 17,99 g/L at pH 7 and > 22 g/L at pH 9 (all at 20°C). The component L-alanine has a measured water solubility of 166.6 g/L (Römp,2011), and KCl has a measured water solubility of 355 g/L (Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, Lide, 2009).
