Description of key information

The partition coefficient (Log Kow) of Methyl Lavender Ketone has been determined as 2.8 to 4.0 at 25°C in a study equivalent to OECD TG 117 for its 3 main constituents. Based on the relative peak areas in the HPLC chromatogram of Methyl Lavender Ketone in the study report, the concentration of the constituents in Methyl Lavender Ketone, and the predicted values by Episuite, each constituent was linked to a measured Log Kow and an average Log Kow was calculated: 2.8*62.66% + 4*20.94% + 3.1*8.96% + 4.1*2.27 + 4.4*1.77 + 3.4*1.43% /(62.66+20.94+8.96+2.27+1.77+1.43) = 3.15
